After 30 years of serving our community, We are
writing to let you know that Close Encounters will be closing
permanently as of January 1 2026.
This business has been an important part of our life, and we are
incredibly thankful for the relationships, loyalty, and support
shown over the past three decades. Due to our age and declining
health, We have made the difficult decision that it is time for
us to step away.
We did make a sincere effort to keep the business in the
community by offering it for sale to local lifestyle individuals;
however, despite those efforts, a transition was not possible. As
a result, closing the business has become the only viable option.
Thank you for allowing us the privilege of serving you for the
past 30 years. Your support has meant more than words can express.
